Dear Brian,

I am so excited to hear that you are interested in taking the Introduction to Political Science class at the local university. Even though I am planning to study Mathematics, this course was fascinating because I learned more about other countries in the world and even our own political system. I felt better prepared to discuss important issues and more informed about local elections after just a few weeks in the course!

I think the local university would be an excellent fit for you as you begin your studies because the professors are very committed to educating their students. They are patient with students who are new to a subject, deeply informed about the subjects they teach, and invested in the community. I know that you will be successful here because the professors will help you achieve your best possible results!

When you apply, don’t forget to ask teachers for letters of recommendation. The university’s admission process relies heavily on these letters, so please make sure that you ask teachers who saw your best work in their classes. Best of luck with your application and in this exciting class!

Take care,

Donald
