Sample Letter 170 Words

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am responding to your advertisement for a domestic assistant at your house next summer. I have relevant work experience and could assist with errands and various household tasks such as general cleaning and garden maintenance. When you get home from work, your house would be organised and prepared with everything you need.

I would love to take this job because I’m a university student and will have a lot of free time when I am back in town next summer for the seasonal break. Since I am not a native English speaker, the work would also be a great opportunity for me to practise conversation in English.

I would be available all afternoon from Mondays to Fridays after I have finished tutoring high school students in the morning. Unfortunately, I would not be available at weekends due to family obligations. I trust you may find my application of interest, and look forward to hearing from you. I include my contact details below.

Yours sincerely,

Sydney Franklin
