Some people think that it’s a good idea to socialise with work colleagues during evenings and weekends. Other people think it’s important to keep working life completely separate from social life.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
There are competing views on how workers should spend their time off the clock. I believe it’s best for them to spend some of their leisure time socialising with their colleagues to form bonds with them.
Those who prefer to keep their professional and social lives totally apart probably hate their work. They see it as a burden and so do not want to discuss any work-related things with their colleagues outside working hours. They stay in their jobs only for the sake of the salary. However, I do not think it is the right attitude toward work and life. Instead, they should try to find a job they are truly passionate about so that they can stop living for the weekend.
Those on the other side of the argument say that socializing with coworkers during off-hours is beneficial because it helps them to bond. For example, when hiking, they may talk about their families and hobbies. This allows them to get to know each other as people and, as a result, they may become great friends. I agree with this agreement because developing good relationships with colleagues can lead to improved cooperation and collaboration at work.
In conclusion, I think only those who hate their jobs would completely separate their professional lives from their social lives, and this is not a lifestyle I support. It is better for a person to do a job that coincides with their passion and spend some leisure time with their colleagues to bond with them. (252 Words)
