  1. hi i have written the exam twice this year and am finding it really hard to get band 7 in writing and reading. please can you help me out with some strategies. i will be taking it again next yr Godwilling. thank you

  2. In the 21st century, as there have been advancements all around the world, many countries are in need of significant oil and gases for their people. With that in mind, the bureaucrats are planning on taking over remote areas of their city in search of fuel. This essay will explain that although some animal habitats may potentially face inconvenience due to this, it would aid the country’s economy.

Surely, once energy has been located in the area, it would greatly benefit the country as a whole. A better economy would mean better living standards for its citizens, for instance, the residents would be provided with A level medical insurance which would mean they have the best doctors to check one’s health. Moreover, not only would it cause a positive repercussion to the urban side, but also the rural regions, which would enable them to provide free monthly check-up services and essential sources such as food and water provided at their door steps.

However, one downside to implementing the search for fuel would be that it may potentially destroy the animals habitat. In untouched areas of nature, one would initially need to detect any form of fuel with the help of detecting equipment. This would help pinpoint what areas are to be further investigated rather than destroying all of the natural places.

In conclusion, I believe the advantages do in fact outweigh the disadvantages as it may significantly improve the economy, allowing its people to live a more satisfied life. Certainly, it is essential to look for oil through the new advanced machines used to locate oil, in order to minimize the disruption caused to the environment.

  3. Hi dear,
1-is every question we are faced with in the IELTS exam unique and not repetitive?
or 2- there is a possibility for these questions to be repeated within this year? if so, please tell me about the possibility.
your essays have been of great help.
I appreciate what you have done.
    thanks a million.

    1. Hi, these questions may be used again and again. Even if you don’t get the exact same question, the topic may be similar.

  4. Hi Lille, thank you for posting the questions. It helps me a lot.
The reported question ‘More and more people move from the countryside to big city. Does this development bring more advantages or more disadvantages to environment?’
I assume it is similar to advantages outweigh disadvantages type of question but I am not sure if I should write it in similar pattern or not?

    1. Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, you can treat it as an “outweigh” question. But be careful with the language. Don’t use “outweigh” in your essay. Use “more” instead.

  5. Hi Lille, Thank you so much for providing us such a useful website. Thank you.

By the way, may I ask if the points used in task 2 essay are not persuasive enough, even though they are still relevant, will our marks be deducted? I always have a problem in coming up the contents within a short period of time.

    1. Hi, thanks for your comments. Whether or not an argument is persuasive is quite subjective. Could you provide an example that you think is not persuasive enough?

  6. I’d like to deeply appreciate for the excellent contents of the website. Last year I could get 7 in my writing module of IELTS. This year I am going to take exam once more.
